#DCTV The Flash S03E22: Infantino Street Review (Spoilers!)

Good day to you metahuman! Today we are going to review the latest episode of The Flash and to those who haven’t watched this week’s episode, be warned that this post is going to contain spoilers. With that said, let’s start.

The Review!

This week’s episode gave me mixed emotions. This is the moment we have been waiting for. In this episode, hours before Iris’ demise, Barry and the team are on the clock looking for a suitable power source for the Speed Force Bazooka (courtesy of H.R.). Apparently, Cisco found one and it’s inside A.R.G.U.S. facility but to make things complicated Layla doesn’t want to give the power source to the team. With time against them, Barry decides to travel back in time where Snart was still with the Legends and asks for his help. In the process, Captain Cold helped Barry breaking and entering the facility, steal the power source before King Shark could eat them but Layla catches them. Layla finally gives Barry the Dominator’s power source to save Iris. Also, before Barry faces Savitar, Snart gave Barry some advice and not turning in the dark side. Barry then faces Savitar who has Iris. The Bazooka didn’t work and in the end Savitar kills Iris.

This episode is one of the defining moments of Barry Allen as a hero. We get to see him again in full lengths, doing what it takes to save the people he loves. It is also an awesome episode where we get to see Wentworth Miller as Captain Cold again and teaming up with Team Flash. His witty remarks are what I love about this character. I hope in the future episodes of the series, it makes a good and awesome twist having Captain Cold in the show.

Also with the finale next week, there’s a question that has been in the minds of the fans, is Iris really dead? From what we saw this week, Iris was stabbed on the back but when we look at the Sizzle Reel that CW showed us, we get to see Iris and time remnant Barry interact. So is she alive or what? I don’t know and if she is I don’t have any viable theory to support that one. But I really hope that Iris is still alive. That’s it for now and stay tune for next week’s review for the finale.
