Omega Wednesday: DC Comics News

Good day dukes and duchess! It is Omega Wednesday once again. Sorry for the delay. I just went to war against someone in the comments section of Facebook page with an issue. Man I was on fire. But now, I’m back and here to bring you all the latest news in the DC Universe.

Let’s start!

It is out! Armie Hammer (Man From U.N.C.L.E.) just clarified on the rumors circulating about him as a Green Lantern. He says in Collider, “I have nothing to confirm nor deny. The only talk of me being Green Lantern that I have heard in my life has only come from social media.” Well, pretty sure that Warner Bros. will be giving him a part in the DC Extended Universe. Let’s just wait and see.

In other news, another Game of Thrones actor is joining Jason Momoa and Ciaran Hinds. In an interview with Red Carpet News TV, Roose Bolton himself, Michael McElhatton discussed his role in Zack Snyder’s movie, although he didn’t give any clue on what his involvement is and also stated that maybe his part be cut. But McElhatton said that Justice League will have a pretty new tone. He states that, “there’s probably going to be a lot more humor in it. I think would probably be the main difference compared to the previous one.” But he also noted that the “big” opening scene will have a dark tone in it but it will be in a good way. Hopefully that the film will succeed.

Justice League will open in theaters in November 17 worldwide. It will star Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, and Ray Fisher as the founding members of the Justice League who will battle Ciara Hinds Steppenwolf.

Oliver Queen is back in Lian Yu and it seems that he is not alone in facing Prometheus. In a picture that Stephen Amell shared in his social media accounts, it seems that Oliver is going to ask for the help of Digger Harkness or also known as Captain Boomerang and Slade Wilson, also known as Deathstroke. According to Marc Guggenheim, the season finale of Arrow will not take place in Star City or anywhere around it, in fact it will be far away in Star City.

Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, Lucifer, and Gotham will be returning next week to finish the second half of their seasons.
